Abstract

پیرفضل گجراتی دیاں دو نظماں وچ سوہنی تے سسی

This article reviews two Punjabi poems. These poems are written by Peer Fazal Gujarati, a well known Punjabi poet. Both these poems are included in "Kalam Pir Fazal Gujarati". In "Daman" and "Sakian Bhainan", the poet has examined the sufferings of Sassi and Sohni. This review is very expert. First, Peer Sahib has chosen the commonalities, then he has done a comparative study of commonalities. On the one hand, the poet's familiarity with both the stories is known and on the other hand, his artistic and intellectual skills are assessed. Quite a few examples are given in both poems.
