Abstract

Children's literature has a permanent chapter in Urdu literature. Poets and writers have shown essence in prose and poetry about the activities, movements, and conditions related to children's education, training, and childhood activities and games. The name of Sufi Ghulam Mustafa Tabasum is prominent among these poets. Poems written by Sufi Tabasum for children are a treasure in children's literature. This paper contains a brief overview of Sufi Ghulam Mustafa Tabasum's poems written for children. In this paper, an attempt has been made to look at all the children's poems of Sufi Tabasum from a new angle, especially the social and cultural analysis of the poems written for children, which is also an important part of this paper. This paper provides a trending impression of shedding light on the role of poetry in Sufi mysticism and children's literature
